Arash Afshari, M.Sc.

Arash Afshari earned his bachelor’s degree in Iran. He then gained several years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry. This experience strengthened his interest in advanced manufacturing systems and motivated him to continue his academic career. With this goal in mind, he continued his studies at Clausthal University of Technology and enrolled in the master’s program in “Intelligent Manufacturing.” During this time, he deepened his knowledge of modern manufacturing technologies, processes, and intelligent systems. After successfully completing his master’s degree, his interest in this field of research inspired him to continue his academic path and begin his research career as a doctoral student.

My work focuses on additive manufacturing in conjunction with various fields such as design and automation, process optimization and simulation, and machine learning. In my teaching, I focus primarily on courses in the areas of design and manufacturing.

I offer student theses in connection with my work topics. I offer bachelor, project and master theses. The theses can generally be adapted to the candidate's level of knowledge.
