Learning Environments

In addition to our lecture series, the IMW provides a space for academic exchange among students and for project work. Our learning spaces are not only equipped with the latest hardware and software, but also offer direct access to IMW staff members.

CIP & CAD Rooms at the IMW

Do you still need to create a CAD technical drawing for your thesis or perform calculations for projects? Then these rooms are the right place for you! The IMW offers students a wide range of equipment for working independently on projects and assignments.

  • 36 (CIP room) computers with 3D mice
  • Whiteboard for study groups and self-study
  • Projector with screen

Living learning places at the IMW

Living learning spaces are designed for self-study and are intended to offer students a relaxed atmosphere for creative thought processes. The room has a mini kitchen with a coffee machine. There are also high tables and a blackboard for lively discussions as well as various work facilities.

Note: In order for these rooms to be permanently open, it is necessary that you treat the equipment with care and leave the room clean.
