TU Clausthal has had a student workshop since 2017. TUCreate comprises three workshops that can be used for academic and private purposes. In the workshops, students and employees receive expert support in the realization of their own projects.

The student workshop at the IMW provides all the necessary infrastructure and support for students to carry out their own projects. The equipment includes:

• Leapfrog Bolt 3D printer
• CNC milling machine
• Laser cutter
• Workbenches and extensive tooling
